We’re continually recruiting new growers and working alongside them to professionalize their businesses. For our existing growers we offer a comprehensive platform for building their agribusiness, whose operation will grow together with ours. Season after season we produce and distribute more fruit to our customers.
Best Agricultural Practices
Growing in an orderly way, based upon best practices, is fundamental for guaranteeing our growers long-term agribusiness opportunities. We advise them throughout production, from selection of new farms for growing, through planting, gestation, harvest, packing and transport to our coolers.
Our robust traceability system lets us know the exact origin of our products so we may address any eventuality that might arise.
Quality and Certified Food Safety
Different supermarkets around the world order fruit with different quality parameters, and we deliver just what they need. From the farms onward we advise our growers on optimally developing fruit, and when it reaches our coolers we conduct quality inspections before passing it on to the cold chain.
For us, our customers’ food safety is fundamental, All our products are certified to meet standards recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative. Our organic products carry both North American and European certifications.
Agile Logistics
We have our own coolers in all our principal growing regions. In-season we receive thousands of crates of fruit from our growers. We schedule land and air transport to deliver fresh fruit to distribution centers, wherever they may be.
International Sales
Our subsidiary companies are responsible for sales of FreshKampo fruit. We have offices in Mexico, the United States and Europe. Meridian Fruits is based in Michoacan, Mexico to handle the Latin American market. Euro Meridian is located in Rotterdam, Holland to serve Europe and the Middle East.
