Quality in the Field
We help our growers get to the root of any problems, designing solutions and implementing them together.
At FreshKampo we work with our growers week in and week out all through the growing season.
Quality in the Cooler
All fruit received in our coolers passes through our inspection system. Based upon a sampling process we identify any defects, channel that information to our growers, and assist in correcting them.
Only fruit complying with our high standards goes on to our cold chain. We are constantly monitoring temperatures throughout the supply chain, to assure that our fruit arrives at its destination in top condition.
Food Safety
Our consumers’ food safety is one of our maximum priorities, so all our produce is safe and healthy.
Evaluating Fields
We conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to assure that every field is in optimal condition for producing our fruit.
Pesticides
We create lists of permissible pesticides according to the destination countries where our fruit is exported, and base our field applications upon those.
We request that growers continually submit application logs for fertilizers and pesticides, and we conduct multiresidue pesticide analysis in laboratories accredited by ISO 17025.
Approving Growers
We have an approval process for suppliers, based upon existing field facilities, facility cleanliness and disinfection, microbiological tests, multiresidue pesticide analysis, manual recording of good agricultural practices, and audits.
FreshKampo only awards field releases to growers who comply with 100% of our food safety requirements.
Installations for pre-cooling and conservation
All our facilities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and are certified Organic (NOP- COR, LPO) as well as by Primus GFS.
Organic Products
All the organic products we offer have a certification that attests to their having been grown organically. We use no chemical additives nor synthetic compounds, genetically modified seeds or species, preservatives, additives or irradiation. Through our production systems we also promote and improve the health of the agroecosystem, helping to preserve it while reducing or eliminating water pollution.
