FreshKampo is more than a business; we’re a family. We’ve already spent over 15 years keeping our promise to deliver berries that are fresh, delicious, nutritious and grown in harmony with nature.

2004

FreshKampo is born.

We began as two people with the dream of changing their surroundings. We joined with a group of growers who’d transitioned the first avocado orchard from conventional to organic in Peribán, Michoacan.

2006

Our First International Sale.

We exported our first blackberry order. We defined our strategy as offering a full range of berries to our customers.

2008

First National Berries Congress.

With a goal of finding the industry’s best innovators, we organized and brought together specialists from over 10 countries.

2017

Our presence in the Old World.

In the Dutch city of Rotterdam we opened Euro Meridian, our European subsidiary. Our global vision was really taking shape.

2014

Vertical Integration in the US.

We established the first subsidiary outside Mexico, Meridian Fine Foods in the United States, to provide better service to our North American customers.

2012

Global Presence.

The entire range of FreshKampo berries were becoming available in North American and European supermarkets. We knew we’d have to keep growing.
